Mom, I will miss you more than you could ever imagine. You taught me so much about being a woman and a mother. I don't know how I could have got through the first six months of Lily's life without you right there by my side. I am so grateful that Lily was able to spend so much time with you, even if it was only six months. It grieves me to know you will never see her grow up, but I promise you that I will keep your memory alive and tell her all the crazy stories about her grandma. I will miss your stories and sarcastic remarks. I will miss your passion and your delicious food. I will miss your intense love for animals. I will miss your love for Lily. I see parts of you in her every day. Thank you for taking care of me when I had my surgeries. Thank you for giving me away on my wedding day.
